What to know
- Create images from one entry’s saved text, not a combined export of multiple posts.
- Saved text comments are excluded until you explicitly select them.
- Create up to 10 PNGs, with previews and author or source controls.
Before you start
Start with a Library entry containing saved text or saved text comments. Comment availability depends on the source and import settings. The editor cannot fetch missing comments.
Only include material you have permission to share. Saved content can contain personal information, and local image generation does not make that information safe to publish. Review the chosen text, names and source details yourself.
How to do it
Open Create share image
Find the entry in Library and choose Create share image. The editor uses a snapshot of its available saved text, including saved article text where present. This is a text layout, not a screenshot of the source page.
Adjust Post text
Edit Post text for the images you are creating, or choose Reset text to return to the original snapshot. These display edits affect the generated PNGs rather than rewriting the Library record. An edited text label identifies adjusted text in the output.
Choose comments explicitly
Under Comments, select the saved text comments you want included. Nothing is selected by default. Search saved comments narrows the list, Show more comments reveals more choices, and Clear selection removes your chosen comments without deleting the saved comments themselves.
Set attribution and appearance
Use Show author and Show source to control available attribution. The author setting also controls author details on selected comments. Choose Style from Light, Dark or Green, and choose Text size from Small, Medium or Large.
Inspect every Image preview
For multiple images, use Previous image and Next image to check text, comment boundaries and source details. If the content exceeds ten images, choose fewer comments, shorten Post text or use smaller text. The editor reports the limit.
Download and confirm
Download PNG saves the current image; Download all PNGs appears for a set with multiple images. Stop downloads can stop the sequence. Read the confirmed-download result. If a download is unconfirmed, inspect browser Downloads before retrying so you do not confuse a request with a saved file.
Use the workflow across your saved sources
For example, you might turn a saved Threads tip into a reference card, an Instagram recipe caption into a small set of instructions, or useful saved Facebook, X or accessible Patreon text into a shareable excerpt. These are illustrative uses of available saved text, not a guarantee that every source captures comments or full article bodies.
Pinterest is download-only and does not create a saved post record for this editor. A downloaded picture is not automatically a text entry or a selectable comment. The PNG creation workflow does not attach the original photos, videos or reply pictures.
Local output still needs your judgement
Rendering and previews run on your device; creating the images does not send their text to an AI provider. Hiding Show source or Show author changes displayed attribution, not ownership or permission to reuse the content. It does not remove names or contact details written inside Post text or a selected comment.
The separate privacy tool can suggest possible email or phone-number lines for covering in an image, but recognition can miss private information. Do not treat it as automatic approval to publish. Downloading a PNG also does not automatically post it to another service.
Limits to keep in mind
- At most 10 PNG images are generated per set; long content may need shorter text, fewer comments or smaller type.
- The layout accepts at most 60,000 characters across its text and attribution inputs, and only available saved text comments can be selected.
- Download failure, cancellation and unconfirmed outcomes remain distinct; inspect actual saved files before sharing.
Questions and answers
Will editing the image text change my saved post?
No. The editor works from a snapshot, and its adjustments affect only this set of generated images. Reset text restores that snapshot inside the editor.
Can I include every comment automatically?
Comments start unselected. Choose from the saved text comments that are available; the interface shows at most the first 5,000 saved comments, and the output still has a ten-image limit.
Why can I not add a comment’s picture or a video?
This feature lays out saved text and selected text comments. It is not an export of original media attachments or a video-sharing tool.
