Threads, Instagram, Facebook, X Posts Library & Downloader
Formerly Post Library — the same extension and local Library. Keep supported posts from Threads, Instagram, Facebook and X on your own device, then search, categorize and read the saved local copies offline. Paste one supported link to save the post or download just its photos or videos.

- Under the hood
- Manifest V3 with a service-worker background, plain JavaScript, no framework and no build step. It reads Threads' embedded page data before falling back to the page itself. A Threads Article keeps its complete title and body when Threads exposes them; otherwise the saved result is clearly labelled as preview-only.
Highlights Inside v0.49.0.
- 01
Threads and Instagram, in one Library
Threads supports your Saved list, publicly loadable original posts from a profile you enter, and supported exact post or reply links. Instagram supports your Saved list, a public profile you enter, and supported exact post or Reel links. Profile imports are limited to what each site loads.
- 02
Facebook links and X History
Facebook supports exact text/photo posts, photo carousels, direct Photo links and Reels; Facebook Saved-list import is not supported. X supports Bookmarks, Likes History and exact post links. History skips existing status IDs by default; enable Update existing X posts in Settings to refresh them. Pasting one X link and choosing Save explicitly updates the same record without a duplicate.
- 03
Find it again, and make time for it
Search saved text, picture text and supported replies, then organize with categories and tags. Recently added sorts by when a post first entered your Library. Saved likes/replies counts are snapshots, not live counters. Reminders and Related posts help you revisit material; their buttons can be switched on or off independently. Hiding reminder buttons does not cancel existing reminders.
- 04
Article links get their own preview
Supported X external articles keep a separate Link preview, with a searchable article title, site and URL. A valid thumbnail is saved locally when available; otherwise the text preview remains. Preview artwork is separate from native photos, so it is excluded from Download photos only and OCR picture-text recognition.
- 05
One link, just the media you choose
Choose Save this post, Download photos only or Download videos only for a supported exact link, including X posts. Download-only actions do not add a Library record. Video availability depends on the site and format; a save may keep only a poster and be marked Partial. X quoted-post media and reply bodies are not copied.
- 06
Read offline, and keep a backup
Already-saved local copies stay readable and searchable offline. JSON export/import moves saved records; Full Backup & Restore also carries readable local media. Keep backups: local storage is not a promise of permanent preservation. The extension uses your browser session where required, does not bypass site restrictions, and cannot promise complete account history or access to private, deleted or blocked content.
- 07
Local by default, with choices you control
Posts, media and OCR picture-text recognition stay on your device by default. Optional AI categorization uses your own API key: selected post text and API credential go directly to the provider you chose; provider limits or charges may apply. If you explicitly use Share, the operating system sends the selected-post file only to the person or app you choose. Neither path sends data to YAKA310 STUDIO. This is an unofficial tool, not affiliated with or endorsed by Meta Platforms, Inc. or X Corp.
